MUTILATED UMBRELLA

This trick is now a RARE item. Used with coloured ribbons. In this version, the umbrella is displayed as an umbrella and put away into a magic wand umbrella stand. (holder is as per a large magic wand strapped to a chrome stand – worn – could be replaced). A child comes on stage to help with a ribbon trick to make into a rainbow ribbon. After usual business of miscounting, dropping on the floor, calling them the wrong colours, child places them into a changing bag and after usual spell, pulls out the umbrella cover. Horror on the magicians face, double take and takes umbrella out of stand to find the ribbons are hanging from each spoke instead of the cover. This always gets a tremendous laugh and the magicians says ‘What am I going to do now when it rains? Get wet’ It is far better to end the trick there on a high. The child thinks that they have put one over the magician – and I guarantee they will remember it for the rest of their lives. Complete trick with Changing Bag.
